My son is 19 years old today.
Crikey!
For many years he was my darling little boy who looked up to me. Nowadays he looks down on me – literally. And perhaps in other ways too!
He’s in his second term of his university course of computer gaming; or something like that it’s all too technical for me. He works very hard and also has a six-month internship (they pay him!) that runs alongside and complements his course.

He finished his first term top of his class of 27 fellow brainboxes. Proud dad moment.
Tonight we will be celebrating his birthday with gifts and his meal of choice: Chinese.
